I knew I wanted to join a startup, but was unsure of which one as the landscape was rich with amazing startups. What made Soum stands out was the clear astounding growth potential, how early and exciting it was and most importantly, the A-TEAM!
Recalling the unforgettable meeting I had with Bader Almubarak before joining, how he emphasized greatly on the team. The passion, excitement, ownership, and empowerment I sensed in the way team members were talking about Soum. I knew right away that Soum is just the right place. A culture of pure empowerment, extreme unity, full autonomy and ownership!
Ever since I joined, I’m loving Soum and the team more and more by the day. Super thankful to be working with and learning from a collective of dreamers, fearless risk-takers, and incredibly talented people.
I play basketball since 2017, I got so obsessed with the game. I learned my way through it from the best coach ever; YouTube! While spending at least 3 hours in the court, daily. It was my full-time obsession. The hours spent on playing and learning it felt like minutes.
I was the captain of my college team, before I founded The Wave basketball team that recently won 1st place in the SBF Saudi Women Basketball Tournament in the Eastern Province. This game has shaped my personality in so many ways, and taught me discipline, resilience and leadership.
